Not every senior goes to college.

If Braintree High School offered trade/vocational programs, it would give students an alternative to college. Students would also probably be more motivated if they knew that they had a week of shop to look forward to every other week.

Teaching shops or trades to students prepares them for the real world and the future, which has a better chance of being a success with vocational training. It helps students become mature young adults. Shops make students show that they can handle dangerous equipment around others.

Having trades and shops gives students room to breathe and think about the future. It provides another option for people not interested in attending college.
