Mock Trial Postponed . . . Again
by Yannis Lam
Braintree High School’s Mock Trial Team had an unexpected second cancellation/postponement with their meetup against Hull High School.
After a win against Cardinal Spellman High three weeks ago, BHS Mock Trial was prepared to do it again and move on to a tiebreaker-round and potentially go to the State rounds. However, due to the heavy-downpour of snow, the BHS administration decided in best interests of safety, to cancel all after school activities, including Mock Trial. Mock Trial’s first challenge against Hull was also cancelled due to a snow emergency. Wednesday, January 22nd, was the supposed first meet for this year’s team. However, it was rescheduled to February 13th. BHS Mock Trial was rescheduled a second time for February 26th. Playoff hopes are grim however, BHS has a 1-1 record, which does not qualify it for State playoff rounds.
